Bio:

Jiaxin Xu was born in the exciting city of Harbin, China.

She acquired an unyielding passion for art and design

since early age. She graduated from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology and trained as a graphic designer. After graduation, apart from working as a graphic

desgner, her enthusiasm for fashion motivated her to

pursue her studies at Seneca College. Taking her

background in graphic design as an exceptional 

advantage, Jiaxin reinvented herself as a fashion 

designer and founded fashion label JIAXIN XU.

 

Jiaxin Xu describes the woman she designs for as “at 

once chic, edgy and sophisticated.” She has been 

chosen as one of 25 finalists for TELIO’s annual 

‘Canada’s Breakthrough Designers’ competition. This

opportunity enabled her to gain a valuable exprience

outside of college and gain national exposure.
